Nearly 50% of our sales representatives and 20% of our sales managers are in their twenties.

First Investors welcomes college graduates from any major course of study—not just business majors. In fact, many of our representatives come from liberal arts backgrounds, such as Marketing, English, Psychology, Political Science and Communications. You don't need a Finance or Economics degree to be successful, and no financial services experience is necessary.

What Do First Investors Representatives Do?

Put simply—our representatives help people. They meet with clients, review their financial situation and make investment and insurance recommendations tailored to their goals and needs. They help clients with goals such as:

• Saving to buy a home
• Affording a child's education
• Protecting a family's assets
• Retiring in comfort

Based on information gathered, representatives put together solutions that meet their clients' needs.

We offer a comprehensive training program that is designed to prepare individuals for successful careers with First Investors. You'll benefit from a mix of classroom and hands-on instruction. Like most professionals, being a representative requires having licenses, and training begins with preparation for licensing exams. You'll also learn about First Investors' products, and master the techniques you'll need in order to build a clientele and maximize your earnings potential.

New recruits work closely with members of their office's management team. In addition, in First Investors' collaborative environment, you'll benefit from the wisdom of more experienced representatives in your office. The bulk of your training will be at your local and regional offices. In addition, you may be invited to advanced training sessions at regional locations, as well as at our national training facility—the University of First Investors—in Edison, New Jersey. Continuing education is required and provided throughout a representative's career to help lift him or her to the next level.

Like most professionals, First Investors representatives' compensation is based solely on their performance. This gives strong performers the opportunity to build significant incomes. Our top producing representatives are generously rewarded with quarterly and annual bonuses. In addition, some representatives may be eligible to buy the Company's private placement stock.
